I've always seen myself as quite agile, and I often think that any injury I get will heal quickly. Sometimes, even ignoring the pain and pushing through. Even with upcycling, I often find myself with a lot of fabric scraps. So, I make it a point to utilise every piece of fabric when working on a project. This not only helps keep them out of #landfills but also allows me to create more versatile pieces for my lovely customers, giving them endless options for their personal styling!

My boys had a blast creating this dress "Literary couture"
This dress was #inspired by my son's love for crafts. During the hot days, he would make fans and hand them out whenever someone came to visit or he would put them on my mannequin and tell me to "put it in my fashion"

The #butterflies were an inspiration by a project my eldest did at school where they had to create a product to sell with just a "fiver" They #recycled ♻️ plastic bottles and nail donated polish to create these beautiful butterflies.

We had fun sourcing materials from charity shops.
The boys are now #certified #thrifters after realising that they can get toys for just £2 🤣
We spoke to school libraries to see if they had damaged books that they could donate to us. We also got some books donated to us by my lovely intern @vanessatwerefou

Surprisingly we only ended up using three books to create this beautiful masterpiece ✨️ Teaching our children to sort waste, respect the environment and consume less is a great way to take responsibility for the future of our planet!!

It's estimated that the textile industry produces around 92 million tons of waste each year, which includes things like fabric scraps, unused materials, and #discarded clothing.
